Haut Selve
The Château Haut Selve was a daring project that was created from scratch by the Lesgourgues family. Their mission: to create a vineyard on the land of an estate that was infamous for being ravaged by phylloxera, land which had been abandoned for 120 years because it was too difficult to cultivate. Since 1993, they’ve created everything, including planting the vines, constructing the winery, designing the landscaping, and installing the trellises.
The Château Haut Selve motto, “Non Nova Sed Nove,” or, “With the Present, Make and Build for the Future,” illustrates this passion for innovation.
The Lesgourgues family business was created in 1974. Today, succeeding Maurice and Jean-Jacques Lesgourgues, is the third generation of vintners.
Château Haut Selve now shines among the leading châteaux of Graves.
