Tobias Vineyards is the marriage of two winemaking families (literally) that brings together generations of talent in the California wine business.
Toby Forman and Dawn Pauli-Forman created Tobias Vineyards with the knowledge of farming, viticulture, & winemaking, handed down by their esteemed and now legendary fathers, Ric Forman and Bill Pauli.
Toby grew up in Napa Valley where his father, Ric Forman, has crafted classic, Napa Valley wines for over 50 years. Toby continues to work and assist his father in making the Forman Vineyards wines today.
Almost all of the wines for Tobias are made with grapes sourced from estate vineyards that include Dawn and Toby’s vineyard on Howell Mountain and the Pauli Family vineyards located in Mendocino County and Potter Valley.
The approach to winemaking at Tobias is one that draws on several generations of winemaking acumen with the goal of making wines that are fresh and approachable and over-deliver for the money.
