Weingut
Veyder-Malberg

Peter Veyder-Malberg has acquired a significant reputation inside and outside Austria as both a viticultural and marketing advisor.
After working on other farms for 8 years, Peter purchased 4 ha in 2008 in the most western and coolest area of Wachau in Spitz and decided to dedicate himself to the recovery of the vineyards on poorly mechanized terraces.
The majority of the vines are between 30 and 70 years old. Drinking flow and storage life of the wines are the main focus of all decisions of the work. The processing of healthy grapes without Botrytis fungus infestation is the highest priority.
This results in fine, highly elegant wines with filigree minerality and lots of tension.
