Clos Mogador

Clos Mogador is the consequence of many generations.
These generations have been passionate, have lived the moment with a keen sense of intuition, and have enjoyed many experiences and emotions.
Clos Mogador is the great wine from René Barbier and one of the Priorat’s best.
A wine of excellent quality and persistence, an authentic wine, faithfully conveying the personality of the terroir, with its characteristic aromas of Mediterranean undergrowth.
A powerful, robust and complex wine, yet also silky and very elegant.
Clos Mogador is, in addition, one of the few wines recognised as Grand Cru in the region, a Vi de Finca Qualificada (Qualified Estate Wine), to use the denomination’s official term.
It’s made from four varieties (mainly Garnacha and Cariñena, with some added Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah), artisan-crafted, a wine for cellaring that always benefits from several years in bottle.
A great wine to enjoy at a slow pace.
