Leviathan is a red blend from legendary winemaker Andy Erickson, the former winemaker for Screaming Eagle. With two 100pt wines and numerous additional accolades under his belt, Andy is recognized as one of Napa’s premier winemakers.
Leviathan began in 2004 as a passion project. Andy wanted to take all of his winemaking experience and vineyard knowledge from around California and create a single red blend that was free from the restraints of appellations and varietals.
This is winemaking without restriction.
Andy founded Leviathan in 2004 to showcase the freedom of American winemaking without rigid appellation requirements, propelled by access to some of the most revered vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
Each year, Andy’s meticulous fruit selections create distinct wines with character and finesse by combining Andy’s advanced knowledge and skillset with the notable vineyards he sources the fruit for this world-class red blend.
