The estate was acquired by Michel Reybier & Tony Parker in 2020. Reybier is also the owner of Cos d’Estournel, a Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Estéphe, Bordeaux. Situated on a rare, preserved site of exceptional beauty, in the shape of a cirque, the property offers stunning views of the restanques (terraces) and the most beautiful hillsides of the estate, which are lined with olive trees.
The vineyard covers 120 hectares and is planted with a variety of grape varieties including Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Vermentino, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mourvédre. The wines of Chateau La Mascaronne are produced using sustainable methods and are certified Organic.
The wines of Chateau La Mascaronne are known for their character and elegance. The Rosé wines are particularly well-regarded and have been awarded numerous accolades, including the highest score ever awarded to a rosé wine by Wine Spectator magazine.
