La Ferme de la Sansonniére

The history of La Ferme de la Sansonniére is not a very long one. It’s not a domaine that was passed down from generation to generation, it’s conveniently landed in the lap of the current proprietor, Mark Angeli.
A chemistry student turned stonemason, Mark Angeli fell for wine, changed career and moved from his hometown in Provence to Anjou, in 1989 in search of affordable lands to develop his ideal vision of agriculture. He luckily stumbled upon the Ferme de la Sansonniére, and right away converted the farm to biodynamics.
