The duet father and son Hubert and Laurent Lignier manage 9 hectares and make 24 wines (Bourgogne, village, premier and grand cru appellations). Their “climates” and great terroirs’ soils are firmly respected in order to favour microorganism and therefore the essential balance for the vine’s growth. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 2011.
All of the domaine’s holdings are now bottled under their own label. Hubert’s son, Laurent, is the next generation of this estate and is following his father’s traditional practices to ensure the treasures coming from the family’s impressive vineyard holdings continue to exhibit the best of their respective appellations.
