The Wine Merchant Thailand
“It was during a summer vacation on a property in the Entre deux Mers region, at the age of 14, that I discovered wine and the conviviality it brings. It is thus quite naturally and progressively that my interest in wine turned into a passion to the point of making it my profession. My career started in 1979, and from 1982 I turned to the trade of great and very great wines.” – Christophe Reboul Salze

Etienne Barre and Christophe Reboul Salze bought Chateau Les Grands Marechaux located in the Cotes de Blaye appellation in 1997.

They also own Chateau Chateau Gigault, which makes the popular Cuvee Viva. They recently added to their portfolio of Bordeaux value wine-producing estates with the purchase of Chateau Belle Coline.

The 19-hectare, Chateau Les Grands Marechaux vineyard is planted to 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The terroir is clay, limestone, and sandy soils. The average age of the vines is 17 years.

The wine-making and vineyard management of Chateau Les Grands Marechaux is consulted by Stephane Derenoncourt who is well known for working with numerous estates in the Right Bank of Bordeaux.
